As science day arrives...

I'm waiting for tomorrow.
Every year, I keep waiting for science day for almost two months.
Few years back in my Fergusson days, I had come to know that some
research institutes remain open for public visit on science day.
Since then, I could not manage to visit IUCAA or GMRT Narayangaon YET.
Hope I'll manage to visit there sometime in future.

When I first read "PRESHIT (The One Who Was Sent)",
a marathi Science Fiction, long back in early 90's, I was very much
fascinated with the miraculous things in Astronomy and science.
Coincidently, again after 14 years, my sweetheart borrowed the same book
from library for us. I found that I still enjoy reading good sci-fi's.
Flying up high in the imagination.

"Cyclops" - the giant radio telescope project in the story - makes
a close resemblance with GMRT.
There are a few memories related to the author of this book - Mr J. V. Narlikar,
I'll discuss it some other time.
